Description

Right To Play’s mission is to harness the transformative power of play to protect, educate and empower children facing adversity. Founded in 2000, Right To Play (RTP) works with over 2.3 million children and youth in disadvantaged communities and operates in 15 countries worldwide. RTP is recognised as one of the leading global authorities in play-based learning and has pioneered a unique play-based approach to learning and development which focuses on life skills, gender equality, child protection, health and wellbeing, and building peaceful communities. Play is a central element of our work, rooted in evidence that play is essential to child development, improves learning outcomes – particularly in areas of literacy and numeracy – and empowers children to exercise agency in their own futures.
