Description

ARQ International (formerly WarTrauma Foundation) works to support the mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of people affected by war, disasters and the aftermath of traumatic events in low- and middle-income countries. Through research on, and development of, effective psychological and psychosocial interventions for these populations, ARQ International bridges the gap between theory and practice between academic and field knowledge. In these activities, ARQ International has access to (international) clinical, training and research expertise from colleagues at ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre and worldwide. ARQ International also offers a platform for field workers, policy makers and researchers by developing and publishing its independent Journal 'Intervention, Journal of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Conflict Affected Areas'.
