Description

The Access to Seeds Foundation was established to encourage the seed industry to bridge the gap between the productivity and potential of smallholder farmers. It aims to achieve that goal in particular by developing and publishing an independent Access to Seeds Index. The Index measures the extent to which individual seed companies enhance smallholders’ access to their knowledge, technologies, varieties and seed. Intented for repeated publications, the Index seeks to benchmark and improve company performance over time.
