Description

Finn Church Aid (FCA) is a rights-based actor, a faith-based Finnish foundation with over 70 years of experience, with operations in 13 countries, and a member of the global ACT Alliance. FCA is Finland’s largest NGO in development cooperation and 2nd largest provider of disaster relief. FCA operates where the conditions for life are poorest, for human dignity and international justice. Our action is guided by international human rights standards and principles. We realise our mission and vision through development cooperation, humanitarian assistance and advocacy work. We contribute to positive change by supporting people in the most vulnerable situations within fragile and disaster-affected areas. We consider three thematic areas as central to sustainable change: the right to peace (R2P), livelihood (R2L) and quality education (R2QE). Our mission: Action for human dignity. Our vision: A world comprised of resilient and just societies where everyone’s right to peace, quality education and sustainable livelihood has been fulfilled. Our values: Unconditional love for our neighbours; Unyielding hope; Courage; Respect.
