Description

The IWRM programme consists of five IWRM water projects, namely two at the sub-national level (the development of regional water management authorities - ARA Centro and ARA Norte), two at the national level (DNGRH and DNAAS), and one (1) at the international level (development of a cross-boundary River Basin Organisation for the Incomati and Maputo river basins). This programme aims to contribute to sustainable social and economic development by promoting water safety and water security based on the IWRM principles. Its implementation is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mozambique.
