Description

Médicos del Mundo is an international and independent association working to make the right to health effective for all people, especially for vulnerable populations, excluded or victims of natural disasters, famines, diseases, armed conflicts or political violence. Healing is our first mission: the right of victims to be cared for must prevail over any other consideration. We not only act in the southern countries, but we also work with groups excluded from the welfare societies, especially with those with problems of access to the public health system. We do not intend to create parallel care systems, but to ensure that all people enjoy adequate health conditions. We also carry out awareness-raising actions as a means for social change and denounces the causes that cause injustices.
