MIFUMI is a Grassroots Women's Rights Agency which was set up in 1997 with the mission to end violence against women. We do this by developing low cost replicable projects that address the causes and effects of gender based violence in a comprehensive way. MIFUMI's work is underpinned by the Rights Based principles and values of Equality, Non Discrimination, Empowerment of Women and Girls, Partnerships, Accountability and Sustainability
