Description
MUVA is a Mozambican organization specialized in promoting economic inclusion and the empowerment of women, youth, and vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons (IDPs). Since 2015, MUVA has been designing and implementing transformative programs that remove structural barriers to decent work, income generation, and economic autonomy through participatory, evidence-based approaches tailored to the Mozambican context. To date, MUVA has directly impacted approximately 6,000 individuals, around 75% of whom live in rural and suburban areas. Through the creation and support of local businesses, skills development training, and market linkages, it is estimated that MUVA's programs have indirectly reached over 24,000 people, including household members of beneficiares as well as workers employed or served by the supported economic initiatives.
