Description

REPP was founded in 2015 to catalyse the growth of sub-Saharan Africa’s renewable energy sector by helping developers overcome barriers to finance. REPP works to mobilise private sector development activity – and investment – in small to medium-sized projects (typically up to 25MW) and is funded by UK International Development. Its funding is UK International Climate Finance (ICF) and is managed through the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
