Description

SEDO is a local social development organization founded to harness the social support to inclusively design and develop programs, and identify opportunities and vehicle through which specific milestone can be addressed and the envisioned milestones achieved. SEDO thus works with the community in the identification of the social problems and design of intervention. SEDO was, and still is, a part of the efforts to reduce and prevent piracy and entrench provision of alternativelivelihood opportunities targeting young people in Puntland. SEDO intends to increase the visibility of, and confidencein, government by improving government service delivery. it is working with local leaders and groups to createcollaborative partnerships between government institutions, the private sector, and civil society, and increase access to information needed to promote peace, recovery, and development for Somalia.
