Description

SMC Faith in Development is a platform for churches and organisations that work with human rights and for dignity for all. Our network contributes to building peaceful, equal and sustainable societies. We have been an ecumenical platform since 1912 for cooperation between different Christian traditions with a special focus on mission, international development and the role of religion in society. Today the SMC network consists of 29 churches and faith-based organisations within Swedish civil society. Together we arrange meeting places and seminars to learn from each other’s differences, pass on experiences and advocate for a better world. The work is facilitated by SMC's Secretary General and secretariat.
