Description

SRD Foundation is a local non-profit, non-governmental, and non-sectarian organization, instituted, staffed, and managed by a faculty of Somali professionals. Since the mid-2006s, it has been conceptualized and discussed. The organization was officially launched in April 2007 by a group of Somali intellectuals in different fields with the consultation of various community groups in Somalia, such as traditional leaders, businessmen, women’s groups, youth groups, religious scholars, school-going girls, etc.
