Description
Since 1994, Associação Saúde Sem Limites (SSL) has been developing health projects with indigenous and traditional populations. SSL's mission is to work with socially excluded populations so that they can interact in the construction of efficient, democratic, culturally appropriate health systems capable of meeting the needs of these populations. SSL has the specific institutional objective of influencing public policies aimed at indigenous and traditional populations through the development of health programs and projects that promote citizenship in intercultural contexts. Guided by these principles, SSL has developed, to date, sixteen projects in the states of Acre, Pernambuco and Amazonas, the results of which have benefited thousands of people.
